SATURDAY MORNING SERVICES ARE ALWAYS AT 9AM

Friday – evening marks the beginning of Shabbat. The traditional term for this service is Kabbalat Shabbat, the Welcoming of Shabbat. At Temple Beth Shalom, we welcome the arrival of Shabbat in a number of different ways. In all of these, we aim to bring joy, peace and a sense of community through song, English readings, and traditional liturgy. We relish the special atmosphere of Friday night, the chance to leave the hectic nature of the work week and usher in a day where we can draw closer to God and to recharge our energy.

On the first and third Friday each month, the service starts at 7:30PM. On the second and fourth Friday, we begin at 5:45PM. The second Friday every month is a child friendly Family service followed by a Potluck Dairy Dinner.

Saturday – morning is our weekly opportunity to join together in prayer and in study. Our worship starts at 9:00AM  with the Birchot HaShachar/Pesukei D’Zimra (Morning Blessing
s/Hymns of Praise
