Men's Club TREE PLANTING for Tikun Olam

Calling on the Men's Club for Tree Planting at TBS for Tikkun Olam....

As you probably already know, Sunday, May 20, is Tikkun Olam day at Temple Beth Shalom. For this day there has been a special request made of the Men's Club that I am hoping we can deliver on. There have been six apple trees obtained for the purpose of planting in the garden area behind the parking lot (or other suitable site). The Men's Club has been asked to provide the help to plant the trees and supply some form of irrigation. What we really need in addition to labor is some expertise in figuring out how and where they should be planted. The irrigation currently going to the garden area is a drip system that would need to be improved to get the trees established back there. The soil is also very hard. We need some help and ideas!

 If we get a good number of people to supply the labor we should be able to get this done in short order. This is a great project that will "bear fruit" for TBS for years to come.
